Love this cafe. We got the orange blossom tea, faloode, and the carrot juice with ice cream. It was amazing and exceptionally delicious. We drove 40 minutes to try out this new place and it was worth it! The portions were also very generous and the family who owns the place is very kind and hospitable!

Wonderful new café in Newmarket Ontario, a café with a warm and inviting atmosphere, with lots of plants, clean, with a beautiful color palette. I usually eat vegan and vegetarian options and travel a lot, so finding excellent authentic, homemade options nowadays is a real blessing, and reasonable prices. Ended up having the homemade Samosa, which were quite large, delicious and filling, with an excellent homemade sauce and one of the best samosas I’ve ever had anywhere Had the Cardamom tea, which stayed hot on the table from the candle and holder which is sat on for the whole length of time that I was there and enhanced the tea drinking experience. The music being played in the background provided a soothing addition and added to the positive atmosphere.

Pichak Cafe is an absolute gem in the heart of downtown Newmarket, right on Davis Dr. It's a family-run business, and you can feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. The owners are incredibly polite and welcoming — I felt like a friend within minutes. I had always heard about Ash Sabzi Shirazi but never had the chance to try it until now. I'm so glad I did! It was packed with flavour and came with fresh, warm Barbary bread — just perfect. And their tea? Served the traditional Iranian way with saffron nabaat — a beautiful touch that brought back memories of home. Pichak Cafe has truly brought a taste of Shiraz to Newmarket. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!

A very charming and comfortable cafe that is open later than most (10pm) and provides a cozier and more intimate option than a Timmies. Owner and his wife are very friendly and make everything in house. Tried their bastani (Persian saffron ice cream) over faloodeh with sour cherry and lemon syrup. Very refreshing and tasty! Also a variety of teas and coffees. Great place to chat and spend some time with friends while trying authentic Iranian desserts and food ( they serve light meals and breakfast also)

A beautiful café in Newmarket! Reasonably priced, very clean, and thoughtfully decorated with fresh flowers on every table. We enjoyed black tea with cardamom, a chocolate muffin, and a traditional milk cake — all absolutely delicious. The café is bright and welcoming, with windows facing Davis Street, giving it a much nicer view than the rest of the plaza. Bathrooms were spotless too. Highly recommend visiting!
